Privacy Policy

If you sign up for the email list or request a free resource, you provide your email address and sometimes a first name. You give this voluntarily, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. If you email me directly, I keep that message so I can reply.

Like most websites, the hosting service that serves these pages records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visited, and the date and time of the request. This is standard server logging used for security and reliability, not for building a profile of you.

Website content and any information submitted through the site is stored with Supabase, a hosted database and file storage provider. Access is restricted, and the data is used to operate the site — publishing articles, tutorials, resources, and handling downloads.

Tutorials on this site embed videos from YouTube. Embeds use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which limits tracking until you press play. Once you play a video — or follow a link to YouTube — YouTube and Google may collect information about you under their own privacy policy, which I don’t control.

Some guides and checklists are offered as downloads. Files are served from this site’s storage. When a download is gated behind a signup form, the email address you enter is stored so the resource can be delivered and so I can send related updates. Downloads that aren’t gated require nothing from you.

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data needed for the site to function. Third-party embeds — YouTube in particular — may set their own cookies once you interact with them. If tracking or analytics tools are added in the future, this page will be updated first.

Information is used to send the emails and resources you asked for, respond to your messages, keep the site secure and working, and understand at a basic level which content is useful. That’s the whole list.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I don’t share it with anyone except the service providers described here, and only so they can help operate the site — or if legally required to do so.

This site relies on a small number of providers: the hosting platform that serves the pages, Supabase for database and file storage, an email service for the newsletter, and YouTube for video. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with providers that maintain their own security practices and access controls. No website can promise perfect security, but I keep what’s collected to a minimum — which is the most effective protection there is.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask me to delete the information associated with your email address. Email the address below and I’ll take care of it.

As the site grows, this policy may change. Any update will be posted here with a revised effective date at the top of the page.
