Why Proverbs & Prompts exists
Proverbs & Prompts started with a simple observation: most people don't need another feature announcement. They need someone to sit down, open the tool, and show them what it actually does — in language that respects their time and their intelligence.
So that's what I do here. I teach practical AI through tutorials, written guides, and downloadable resources built around real situations: turning a brain dump into a working plan, drafting the email you've rewritten four times, organizing files you've been avoiding, building a checklist or spreadsheet that finally holds up.
No hype, no jargon, no pretending these tools are magic. Just clear instruction, honest limits, and enough context to decide what belongs in your own workflow.
Technology should serve people
You don't have to become a tech expert to benefit from AI, and you don't have to adopt every tool that shows up in your feed. The right question isn't "what can this do?" — it's "what should this do for the life I'm actually building?"
That's the through-line of everything here. Tools are means, not ends. When a tool stops serving the work, the people, or the priorities behind it, the answer is to change the tool — not the life.
The wisdom underneath it
I build and teach from two places at once: hands-on experience with these tools, and a Christian faith that shapes how I think about wisdom, stewardship, and responsibility in a fast-moving world.
Wisdom, stewardship, discernment, and responsibility aren't decorative words to me. They're the practical questions I bring to any new technology: What is this good for? What is it costing? Who does it serve? What am I responsible for when I use it?
You'll find that perspective woven through the work rather than bolted onto it. This isn't a ministry site, and you don't have to share my faith to get real value here — but you should know what's shaping the judgment behind the recommendations.
